The incoming turbulant air is stablelized and accelerated around the edge of the airsplitter plate , this means greater volume evenly distributed throughout the airbox.

This Ducati 748 / 916 /996 MWR airfilter replaces the original airfilters and the mounitngs in the air ducts.Then pull the racefilter over the two velocity stacks .The mesh or gauze at the air intakes must be maintained if you are using the original eprom.If you want to remove them then you will need to replace the eprom or fit a remapping device (such as a Powercommander) to correct the fuelling.Remove If you want to use these filters but have the standard exhaust fitted then you can remove the gauze but do not have to change the eprom or remap the bike.The filter protects your engine particularly from stones and other foreign bodies which can have a harmful effect on engine performance and longevity.Only clean the MWR filter with MWR cleaner and then only useMWR Airfilteroil to re-oil your filter.Caution: clean and pre-oil once a year regardless of mileage.

This Ducati 748R MWR airfilter replaces the original airfilters.Remove the airbox filters and the mountings in the air ducts.If you are using the standard Eprom then please do not remove the gauze from the air intakes.If you use the original exhaust then you must remove the gauze from the air intakes and change the Eprom.The smaller cage of the new filters must be mounted on the back side of the airbox where the airbox is mountend to the rear cylinder.The MWR filter offers an increased air flow which greatly increases engine performance.Only clean these filters with MWR cleaner and then re-oil with MWR airfilteroil only.Caution:clean and pre-oil once a year

This filter replaces the original airfilters of the models 996 R/998 BIP/S/R.Remove the airbox filter and the mountings in the air ducts.These two parts airfilter are mounted against both sides of the airbox.Then you screw the new MWR filters against the airbox.On this model the fuel tank acts as the air box lid and makes sure that the filters do not move.It is highly recommended that you have the bike set up on a dyno afterwards to compensate for improved air flow.Only clean the MWR filter with MWR cleaner and then only use MWR Airfilteroil to re-oil your filter.Caution: clean and pre-oil once a year regardless of mileage.

These Ducati 996R/998 MWR airfilter gives more air input and holds back dirt 100%. The filter is put directly on the air intakes (the complete injection system is inside the filter) and can be installed at the original points.Before installing the filter , disconnect the fuel & power of the secondairy injectors and remove the complete injection system out of the airbox ; only then you can place the injection inside the filter. The form is similarly that 916 filters, only more volume. All original filters must be removed. This does not have a crucial effect on mixture preparing. Only when you remove the mesh or gauze at the airbox channels you must prepare the mixture by using the Power Commander or connecting module. STEP 1: Std airbox with cover . STEP 2: Stick a screwdriver between the cover and the airbox . Break the cover loose from the airbox ( you need some force ). STEP 3: Cover removed . STEP 4: Make the holes , stay on the inside of the sealingring groove . STEP 5: Install the power-up kit , use the supplied screws and spacers. ( click on the pictures to enlarge)

 -  Red curve -  is the Monster 696’09 as it cames with DP kit ( Termignoni silencers + Ducati Performance ecu + Ducati performance racing air filter).

-   Blue curve -  same conditions as red curve changing only the Ducati Performance racing air filter to the MWR racing air filter kit (MC-020-08 &MC-020-09).

-   Black curve -  is with Termignoni silencers, MWR racing air filter kit (MC-020-08 & MC-020-09) and Rapid Bike EVO ecu.

The std. filter is not “inside” the airbox but too close to the airfunnel .Result : you have no airpressure inside the airbox but in the airfunnel .The std. filter is so close to the airfunnel that only half the filter surface is effective and used.We developed a filter “inside” the airbox so you will get airpresure in the airbox.Also there is more distance between airfunnel and filter so the filter will be used on his full surface so the protection is much better too.The surface of the filter is doubled. Caution: Remapping the ECU or the Power Commander is necessary. Cleaning and reoiling at least once a year regardless the mileage.

The MWR high efficient airfilter for the 1199 Panigale is developed with our own aluminium filterholder. Therefor are all parts of this filter also seperate available and to order. The power-up filter is developed to create some extra power by making a extra airintake , install the filter on top of the airbox . Make a hole according the drawing what is included , together with the screws and install the filter .

The filter of the 2015 MTS1200 is placed horizontal on top of the airbox , the most scary part is that the air comes in also from above ...... so all the dirt & water too

Because the filter is way too small and is placed lower as the top of the airbox all the dirt & water what comes in contact with the filter stays there

With a horizontal filter placement with the air comes from below ( like 95 % of all bikes) due to the vibrations of the engine the biggest peaces of dirt fall out of the filter , this happens also to vertical placed filters.

The airbox opening is also pointed to the front and the filter is not “protected” by the toplid of the airbox completly.

So .... the filter will “close” rapidly and the big high powered engine will stay breathing this means that in a short notice it will pull the dirt / water through the filter. Also I have doubts about the sealing of the filter but that will come out sooner or later aswell.

The MWR performance & race airfilter for the Ducati Panigale V4 are developed to increase maximum filtersurface , we managed to increase the surface with more than 40% , more filtersurface is better protection , less restriction and more power.
CAUTION: Filter needs to be installed as the OEM filter , but (very important) with the printed MWR logo below because the filter is asymmetrical build , see picture .
Two versions are available , one for the roadbikes and one for the race/track bikes

From the shape it’s not so different from the performance filter because there is not other way , the filter goes straight into a tunnel , main difference is that the filter is build up from two different foam materials to spread the incoming air over the complete airbox to create more equal fueling to all four cylinders , therefore you can refine all the adjustments .Which will bring the extra power and smoothness to the powercurve

New to our applicationlist is the OEM replacement filter , the MWR performance filter with part # MC-025-14
The filter has a different design for better installation and sealing to the "weird" rubber OEM filterbracket.

This highly restricted airbox has only one possible solution to get some extra power , a power-up kit . Make some extra holes in the airbox to increase airintake surface and develop a airfilter to clean the air of these extra intake holes . With this done you increase the air intake opening with at least 50%
On both sides of the airbox you need to drill holes according the included pattern drawing (with each filterkit).
The power-up kit will have part.# MC-025-13 and includes two filters with patern drawing and screws.

MWR has developed an exceptional filter for the Hypermotard 950. The complete air filter lid with cover is replaced by the new MWR high performance filter. This means a much larger inlet opening of the airbox, resulting in much greater airflow with much more power than with any other sports filter ........ we cannot rule out the beautifull increasing noise.
